Hospital label manager, company director, designer and dad, the Goose has been deejaying since college... reckoned to be approx Spring 1937. Following houseparties in Yorkshire basements, Chris helped set-up 'Dig!' in Leeds in 92, (the big midweek freestyle/jazz affair), then went on to put together the Wah Wah nights in London, from Finsbury Park winebars to a weekly residency at The Jazz Cafe. Following 3 years of 'acid-jazz' fun with Tongue+Groove, Goss and Colman set about their own music-making in 95/96... resulting in both Hospital, and Galactic Disco. As London Elektricity the pair managed a host of single releases and their debut Pull The Plug album in 1999. They also ran a nice-line in disco-house under the Future Homosapiens moniker, with the 'Moonrock' LP in 98, and 'Final Countdown' comp in 99. Remix work included The Headhunters, Mr Scruff, The Egg, Nitin Sawhney, and Marilyn Manson (unreleased!). Alongside Tony C has played a broad range of toilets/stadiums, from a Helsinki tramshed in deep mid-winter to a Japanese fashion show in a Tokyo dept store. His own freestyle sets have earned return visits to Brixton, Plymouth, Bergen and Tokyo. Producer, DJ, hair-product specialist and the evil genius behind Hospital Records promo strategy, the Hawk has earned his stripes rising through the NHS ranks. Getting involved whilst still at college, Tom took over promotions at Hospital full time in 2002, is one third of the A+R team, and a regular spinner for our Hospitality residencies. His own tunes like Until Dawn and Straw Dogs have helped establish his profile and bring in DJ spots around the UK, Europe, and more recently in Beijing & Shanghai. He mixed the 2nd Hospital Mix CD, and has production credits and vocals to his name on Hospital long-players such as High Society and Ghetto Blaster. Last year his first collaboration with Danny Byrd 'Control Freak' was released on Spearhead, and his hook-up with Syncopix Collateral is one of the many bombs dropping with Weapons Of Mass Creation 3. The boy done good!
