ÒLifeformsÓ effortlessly rolls back the years to the uncompromising dancefloor sounds of the late-90s, think classic Ed Rush + Optical with 2009 sensibilities. An intro flooded with industrialised atmospherics is superseded by chunky drums punching through rasping synth work and basslines. Switching it up on the second drop, the track is engineered to even greater gut-wrenching levels to keep the crowd jumping. Trisector delves deep on flipside ÒTrace Of A SmileÓ, calling in the assistance of Inztance. The award-winning Estonian producer demonstrates his astute production in complete harmony with Trisector, constructing a tight framework of rolling beats and growling bass finished with a fine veneer of beautiful guitar and vocal overtones.
