Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital stalwarts Nu:Tone and Logistics. Having brought us the Nu:Logic ÒNew TechniqueÓ EP in 2010 and the recently released follow up single ÒMorning Light / GrizzlyÓ, the duo now bring us their highly anticipated debut album ÒWhat IÕve Always Waited ForÓ. Opening with the calm, mellow soothing sounds of ÒMorning LightÓ we are taken through a variety of styles across the 14-track album. Vocal-driven cuts are peppered throughout the album and thereÕs some top collaborations in there, including ÒEverlasting Days (ft. Lifford)Ó with its warm, uplifting vibe, the growling spoken swagger of ÒWe Live There (ft. DRS)Ó and the blissed out ÒShoot Me Down (ft. Robert Manos)Ó. Elsewhere, donÕt miss out on the excellent ÒStart Again (ft. S.P.Y)Ó with the raw, bass heavy menacing tones, as well as the meditative title track ÒWhat IÕve Always Waited ForÓ which is all whirring atmospherics and pattering drums.
