In 2006 Hospital Records announced the arrival of twisted sister Med School. Our aim is to take you deep into the realms of electronic dance music as we champion emerging talent and push a unique palette of sounds.
With a growing roster of inspired sonic surgeons, Med School provides musical remedies that dissect the divide between d&b, IDM/electronica, techno, dubstep, jungle and breakbeat. There are no constraints... from the glitchstep musings of Martsman, electronic delicacies of Bop and progressive melodies of Fracture & Neptune, right through to Randomer's half-tempo stompage and the dancefloor rinse outs of S.P.Y and Icicle.
With extensive medical training, these bassline scientists are doing the ward rounds and are graduating with full honours... so let the surgery begin!
Trisector returns to the operating table!
Trisector returns to Med School with a follow up to the lush, amen-fuelled "Morning Rain" single out earlier this year. "Lifeforms" effortlessly rolls back the years to the uncompromising dancefloor sounds of the late-90s, think classic Ed Rush + Optical with 2009 sensibilities. Trisector and Inztance strip it back on flipside "Trace Of A Smile", constructing a tight framework of rolling beats and growling bass finished with a fine veneer of beautiful guitar and vocal overtones. Big!!

After an outing with big sister Hospital on the massive Sick Music project, "Synth Geek" Randomer returns to Med School with a dirty cross-genre dancefloor workout. "Scapegoat" is a slamming party anthem taking Med School in a new direction as we hit 140bpm for the first time. Keeping you hungry for more, flipside "Appetite" is a feast of hip-hop infused half-tempo drum+bass hitting hard at 85/170bpm.
