Having been at the forefront of the drum&bass renaissance, nurturing the Hospital label to become a byword for quality soulful breaks; London Elektricity aka Tony Colman has been a busy man.

From the heavy funk of the title track and the "Great Drum & Bass Swindle" via the deep Detroit textures of "My Dreams" and "Syncopated City", to the cheeky grooves of "Harlesden" and "Cum Dancing", Billion $ Gravy is dancefloor soul at 170bpm.

Vocal duties on the album fall to two specialists. Chicago Hero Robert Owens graces two tracks: deeper than deep on "My Dreams", and spine tingling on the seminal "Different Drum". Long time Elektricity collaborator Liane Carrol provides vocals on "Main Ingredient", "Syncopated City" and the R&B flavoured "Born To Synthesise". The album also features the locked-down rhythms of human break-beat dynamo the Jungle drummer; adding weight to the charictaristic organic soul of the London Elektricity sound.

With a six-piece live band on tour this Spring and Summer the London Elektricity project is set to do serious damage in 2003.
