    Hey Tony,

Just came to the site to say thanks for the latest podcast; was rocking ;)

The promises of forthcoming albums has made me want to tuck all my dollars into your knickers. Bring on the Netsky album and Sick Music.

Saw you at the Mix Party Thursday, looking forward to the March event at Fabric, keep the tunes coming.

  • Laurie

Faaaaaaaaaaaaackin ell this B-Complex tune is big!

And Netsky’s album to definitely be released this year? I’m liking the sound of that :)

Great podcast. Loving the Netsky stuff. The Sick Music 2 previews are leaving me frothing at the mouth for it’s release.

Anyway, was wondering if I (Donald in Los Angeles) could get a shout out sometime soon. I found High Contrast and Hospital totally by accident in the middle of 2006 and you guys reignited my love for Drum & Bass after spending nearly a decade out of the scene. I started subscribing to the podcast in late 2006 and have collected the vast majority of the entire Hospital and Medschool catalog in the years since. Thank you for releasing great music. I pretty much buy doubles and triples of everything, vinyl, cd and .wavs. I’m a fanatic. :)

Hey! enjoyed 105 and the Muffler remix really made my day. Used to have Pinball Dreams and Fatasties on the Amiga back in the day :)

The original composer is Olof Gustafsson

LOVED the new Jonny L tune. Not quite d’n'b, not quite pop. Can’t wait to get a copy of 1 and 2 – when is it released?!

  • Lloydy

Good podcast again Tony! – not feeling that Muffler tune though, Gran Turismo D+B…Jonny L’s tune is lame as well, the vocals are very weak like a nursery rhyme!!
Liking the Netsky tunes though and looking forward to Sick Music 2 – Keep it up

  • fatpete

As ever awesome podcast. Thanks for the Muffler Pinball Dreams tune, like some of the others on here I remeber wasting hours away playing that on the Amiga.

Also discovered you can buy a port of it for the iphone, with the added benefit you can listen to the podcast whilst on a nostalgia trip!

any chance of a beginners guide/tutorial on making drum and bass, everything just seems so tech and is a bit overwhelming

    kepp up the good work

  • mogo

    Bonjourno!

Greetings in an almost French way…

Been out in the Alps living on the slopes for a couple of months now and like many of my mates in the little resort of La Tania, Les trois vallees, I’m seriously craving some DnB.

Aside from skiing everyday (mostly with the last 89 episodes of the podcast playing in my ears) theres not much to do but go out to crappy music EVERY night.

Upon my return in April I shall be binging on Hospitalitie’s UKwide.

Tony, although you may not realise it, you are doing me and every other drum and bass head who are stranded in DnB deprived nations across the world a huge service, keeping us all plugged in.

keep on rolling ‘em out and no doubt we’ll all keep listening until the sub’s destroy our hearing faculties.

Give a shout out to the scattered DnB fraternity and all the Hospital lovers in the Alps.

    Peace and powder…

    mogo

  • EdLazenby

    Dear Mr Tondon Colektricity,

As a massive Hospital Records fan and supporter, you can imagine my joy when I received an email updating me of forthcoming Warehouse Project line-ups in my hometown of Manchester.

Due to the majority of acts on the 2nd April being Hospital legends I quickly proceeded to purchase 5 tickets for me and a few of my brederins.

However, after listening back to a few of your recent podcasts I have noticed you mention that you are having a break from DJing (apart from Matter) as you are making an album.

The Warehouse Project line-up clearly states London Elektricity as one of the headliners. Is this a marketing scam trying to sell tickets by stating big names or will you be blessing our northern ears with your heavenly sounds?

You were sorely missed last time (25th Sept 09), but fully excused due to parenting duties.
I would be grateful if you would inform us all whether or not you will be at the Warehouse in person on the 2nd April.

    Many thanks,

    Ed Lazenby

P.S. Loving the New Blood (Med School), especially Synkro’s Departure as he lives up the road from me!

  • MaxSweeney

    Hey man
I would like to give a big shout out on the next podcast to my mate Henley.

Last year in June I went round his house and he showed me London Elektricity and since then I’ve been, quite frankly, hooked. We came to (what I think was) the first Hospitality at Matter and it was banging! About that time I was trying to decide what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing and Matter gave me the epiphany i needed. I’m now really looking forward to going to uni in September to study Music Production as I know that I’m going to love the course. Big thanks to you and my mate Henley for showing me the light :D

On a final note, I’m off to Canada soon for 3 months and the Hospital podcast will keep me company while I’m trying to settle there. It’s gonna be brill!!

    Thanks man
    Maxwell from Milton Keynes

  • edzortails

    Hey,

What are the odds of another person from Manchester, also called Ed, leaving a sequential comment, ey?

Not too surprisingly my comment is also about the WHP show. I have been living in Trinidad for the last six months now, and am over the moon to see that the week after I get back my favourite record label comes back to my home town.

Apart from getting to see all my family and friends this has to be the best welcome home present I could ask for.

**It was sequential when I started writing it!**

  • londonelektricity

    i’ll be there….

  • slj444

ill keep it short and simple. london you are the fucking SHIT. keep up everything you should be well worshiped!

  • edphantom

    Wiked shows man!

I’m a Londoner living in Sydney and have just moved house which is a good half an hour walk to work,, i’ve been religiously listening to your shows though on this walk and it makes it go so much quicker listening to some fresh dnb gettin in the zone..

    nuff respect, edphantom

  • Some Nerve

A little Q&A with the LE man and his faithful deciples…

Matter – what a legend venue for a night of D&B hedonism. How many bricks did it take to complete ??

I know the answer but I’m not going to post it until after the next podcast …

    Some Nerve

  • Colak

liked that jonny L track initially but it’s pissing me RIGHT off, it’s like a gay drum and bass version of WE BUY ANY CAR….

Netsky absolutely killing it as always, muffler too, i had that game on the amiga!

  • Freddie

I went to the Logistics and Brooks Brothers night last night in York, I have been wanting to see some hospital action for ages, this was my first drum and bass night, I would love to be given a shout on your podcast as I always listen to every podcast and last night was fucking immense, i went mental when logy played Transporter, I think hospital records is in a league of their own, and its some of the only decent music that is stil produced nowadays. As soon as i am old enough, i will be attending a big Hospitality event!! Please keep producing the fucking amazing music!!
    Freddie Havers

    Hey Tony!
    Fresh tunes as always!
Like those exprimential sounds coming up nowdays.

Wonder if there is any way to download the older podcasts?

Finally, i wonder if you can give a shout to my girlfriend and the rest of my mates who are travelling to London in march from Stockholm, Sweden, to visit Matter for the second time in a year.
    Its gonna be wicked!
Cant wait to see John B!

Shouts to David for his brilliant work for working/keeping it up!

Also, a Netsky album this year?!?!

  • Alegria

B-Complex with Diane Charlemagne?! One word: HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!

So Tony and co, when are you putting this baby out on Hospital? B-Complex deserves some release love from you guys, “Beautiful Lies” was and still IS a gateway tune for non-dnb to get converted, and was a driving force of “Sick Music” if you ask me.

This one has just as much potential. Now, on behalf of any fan of good drum n’ bass I ask you, Hospital: PLEASE DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS TRACK! :)

    Respect from Poland,
    Alegria
