SICK MUSIC – Sampler #1

Monday, June 1st, 2009

The first release to appear from our Sick Music album, this 12″ features two of the most hotly anticipated Hospital dubs of 2009.

Fresh from the success of the d&b chart busting “Jungle Music” Logistics is back on NHS wax with some alternative therapy in the shape of this updated take on Danny Breaks’ oldskool Droppin’ Science anthem. On the flip side comes “Paint It Black”, the biggest tune around from producers de jour Sigma, having already been smashed all over Radio One by the likes of Annie Mac and Mistajam.

If this 12″ clinical trial is anything to go by, the forthcoming Sick Music album from Hospital’s A&E department should be truly infectious. GRAB A COPY NOW FROM NHS DIRECT… 12″ VINYL | MP3

LOGISTICS – Jungle Music / Toytown – OUT NOW!!

Monday, March 30th, 2009

Logistics’ first Hospital outing since the massive “Reality Checkpoint” which smashed up dancefloors and ipods alike back in 2008. “Jungle Music” is the quintessential Ronseal tune – it does exactly what it says on the tin! Proving that Logistics is a true player of the scene, this is vintage Jump-up at its very best. Simple, deadly, route one stuff.

On the other side of the disc it’s the twisted toy pianos and stuttering electro synths which bring us back into the future. “Toytown” has us checking the reality, and it’s warped funk like only Logistics knows how. As you would expect dubplate support on these is already massive, with Fabio, Bailey, Matrix, Friction, DJ Hype and many many more.

The follow up to 2006′s amazing debut double album ‘Now More Than Ever’ Logistics is straight back with a brand new collection of metaphysical future classics!

Prolific is just one word that immediately springs to mind when describing this man. ‘Reality Checkpoint’ contains 15 stormers ready to blow your mind.

From the anthemic sounds of ‘Lullaby’ and ‘No Words’ to the genre bending dubstep genius of Coldworld and the electro futurism ‘Cocoon’. Logistics’ production has matured without losing any of its genius, excitement or experimentation.

A favourite with both big room DJs and fans of those who like their d&b a little deeper – everyone from Mr Scruff to Andy C is onboard. Logistics once again proves that he’s a man for all seasons.

The album arrives in the shape of two double pack EPs, CD and Digital Download. PICK UP YOUR COPY NOW DIRECT FROM THE HOSPITAL SHOP…

With the shockwaves still being felt from the award winning debut album “Now More Than Ever”, Logistics is back with a brand new forward-thinking EP.

“Wide Lens” kicks things off in ideal fashion, a lush synth build up warms it up nicely until BANG you are into a bassline straight out of murksville. Switching things up “Cold World” burns white hot with half time pressure that will turn heads and cross over into the dubstep domain nicely. With lasers set to stun, “Glitch” is a slow burning masterpiece with glitchy bitcrushed synths and some heavyweight reese bass. The awesome foursome is rounded off in spectacular fashion with the filtered cyber stomp of “Spotlight”. The sound of the future once again from jungle’s own Jedi in the making, however, which side of the force he is on still remains an enigma!

Medical History

Monday, June 4th, 2007

After the BBC 1Xtra Award winning, 24 track monster album Now More Than Ever blew the drum & bass scene apart last year, fans have been hounding Hospital for more & more Logistics. So here it is! 10 top end unreleased cuts from both sides of the force.

One of Logistics’ finest pieces to date the hugely in-demand “Maybe Next Time” is joined by “Life Rhythm” which appeared in the mix on High Contrast’s Fabric Live mix. Elsewhere there is the future funk “Divided” and the sound of the cosmos – “R2D2” along with the toughed up grind of “Connect 4” – all the quality dance floor drum and bass Logistics is famous for…

Flipping the script at half time “Through The Looking Glass” and the heart felt “Babe” give you another side to the Logistics enigma. Make sure you check in and get to know the Medical History of this prodigal talent; one of the finest producers of the moment!
