Dan Nu:Tone commented: “Ever since I released my first album, people have been asking if and when I’m going to do a live ‘thing’. Up to this point, it’s never felt right – I think there are so many elements that have to be in place. But finally, it made sense, and thanks to Natalie, an amazing group of musicians, and a lot of hard work, it all came together.”

This is Dan’s most ambitious project yet with a wealth of cutting edge drum and bass productions featuring some of the finest vocalist and collaborators from within the scene and beyond. 4 Hero, Ben Westbeech, Natalie Willams, Stac, Logistics, Heidi Vogel, Lisa Milett, Kyan and Sophie Paul all feature on this breathtaking album.
Following recent output which graced this summer’s festivals and the BBC Radio One playlist alike, Hospital switches things up with selection of deeper cuts which will penetrate the record boxes of the connoisseurs. Nu:Tone and Logistics, individually two of Hospital’s most talented producers, unite to bring you something extra special. ‘New Technique’ is bass filled and ready for the floor. With DJ support coming from the likes of High Contrast, Danny Byrd, London Elektricity as well as Fabio, AI and many more.
Nu:Logic’s stunning “New Technique EP” is available now from the hospital Shop
We have 12″ vinyl and mp3 in the Hospital Shop of the new Nu:Tone single
“Hyper Hyper” backed with “Set Me Free”.
“Hyper Hyper” is the convulsing electro D+B anthem which has been mashing up dancefloors and airwaves since it
began to appear in the sets of A-listers at the turn of the year. Instantly recognisable from its infectious chromatic
synth riff, it’s already being championed by the likes of Subfocus in Mixmag – crossing outside the confines of D+B
into the wider world.
Beautifully contrasting flipside “Set Me Free” shows Nu:Tone’s diversity as a producer. Honing in on the current
vogue for minimal sounding rhythm tracks – as usual Nu:Tone surpasses the technical ability of his peers with a
mixdown that is sonically huge. This is the kind of tune which draws you in with its simplicity, subtlety and detail
and just won’t let you go!
