Logistics returns with his first release since 2012’s ‘Fear Not‘ album, having spent the last two years collaborating with his brother Dan Nu:tone on the critically acclaimed ‘Nu:Logic’ project.
A return to the classic Hospital sound which Logistics has helped shape; uplifting piano chords, a euphoric bassline and sublime vocal chops ‘Somersaults’ will appeal to longtime d+b fans who remember the classic soulful era of the genre, as well as the new generation of liquid disciples. Triangles’ provides the perfect antidote. Where ‘Somersaults’s is the perfect Saturday night, “Triangles” is Sunday morning. Aural salve guaranteed to lower your heart rate and sooth your soul.
Across the world millions of children are forced to live or work on the streets. That is why Street Child World Cup has teamed up with one the most popular labels within UK dance music Hospital Records to create the official anthem for the Street Child World Cup, which kicks off in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in March 2014. Up to 250 former street children from 19 countries will be united in Rio with one clear message: No child should have to live on the streets.
David Beckham, OBE said “I look forward to Brazil in 2014 when street children from around the world will play football and represent the millions of children who still live or work on our streets.“
‘I am Somebody’ features Hospital Records artists London Elektricity, S.P.Y, Diane Charlemagne alongside Corpus Christi School and is a statement of identity which will challenge the negative perceptions and treatment of street children across the world. Featuring great alternative remixes straight off the ward from S.P.Y, Nu:Tone and Med Schools very own Lung.
We will be submitting all the proceeds from this release to this fantastic charity.
Med School signing and prodigious Welsh talent Lung has made a conscious decision not to indulge in passing trends and the temptations of throwaway internet culture, instead putting quality firmly before quantity and delicately crafting his spectacular debut album “Wait Less Suspense” which is due out on Monday 16th September.
Bringing together an array of tempos and influences from across the spectrum, “Wait Less Suspense” maintains an effortless continuity and togetherness making it an essential purchase for open-minded fans of electronic music.
Camo & Krooked are back with their new album “Zeitgeist”. This belter is jam-packed with disco, French house and minimal influences, which are merged together with the signature Camo & Krooked sound to form an awe-inspiring 15-track package.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls… prepare to witness something that’s never been seen before at Brixton Academy on Friday 27th September. Join us for the landmark Hospitality event “The Final.”
Taking place at 9pm will be performances from some of the scene’s top brawlers as they battle it out for dominance of their respective weights and regions as we prepare to see who will be crowned champion of Brixton.
Earlybirds for this one off spectacular sold out within a record time of 48hours, Round Two tickets swiftly followed suit and Round 3 tickets are nearly all gone too!
Hospital fan, 12 year old Sam Barnett recently won the Mayor of London Gigs Big Busk 2013 Youth category whilst proudly wearing his Hospital t-shirt (pictured).
Sam is a young sax player from Ladywell, Lewisham and is a huge Hospital fan – particularly of London Elektricity, SPY and High Contrast. He’s played sax all over the place, has been spotted by Jazz FM and had his picture taken for the Evening Standard.
Check out more of his acheivements over HERE but from all of us here at Hospital we’d like to say a huge big up to Sam for doing so well and repping our t-shirt whilst doing it.
The next single from Camo & Krooked in the run up to the release of their brand new album ‘Zeitgeist’ is the exceptional dancefloor detonator ‘Move Around’.The track is classic Camo & Krooked 2.0 – at once uplifting, energetic and innovative to the core.
Kicking off with a flurry of piano keys and a shimmying vocal (courtesy of the award winning Ian Shaw), the track is underpinned by a quirky, warping hook which will get inside your head. Accompanying the original tune is a radio edit, instrumental and a remix by French house producer Uppermost.
This single will be available in digital stores on September 9th. Expect to hear a lot more from Camo & Krooked in the coming weeks as the ‘Zeitgeist’ album is set for release September 30th.
