EVENT: Women In Drum & Bass – London Production Workshop

January 15, 2020 in News

Following on from the previous workshop, on Tuesday 17th September we return to Strongroom Studios for a Production Masterclass Special with in-depth workshops from long-standing Hospital artist and liquid-soul connoisseur Nu:Tone on utilising vocals within music, and rising star in drum and bass Dilemma running through a full track breakdown.

We welcome all women, non-binary and female-identifying people to join us, and entry is free for those who RSVP – but please be aware that this will run on a first come, first serve basis with limited capacity so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

At Hospital Records we are committed to addressing the issue of gender imbalance that is present in drum & bass. We hope with events such as these, we can create more opportunities for women to succeed in this industry and in turn help to bring a positive change for the scene and music that we all love.

Also, we would like to give a very special mention to everyone who came down to our very first workshop back in September 2019, and everyone who submitted entries for our 12-month production mentorship – we’re thrilled here at HQ by the outstanding engagement so far, and look forward to unearthing new female talent and celebrating the women in D+B.
