With the Rave Digger project continuing to do damage, Danny Byrd brings you the third single from the critically acclaimed LP. It's been a manic few months for Hospital's heavy hitter, with a packed release schedule, two A-List hits on Radio One and a well deserved break into the Top 40. First up, Danny Byrd unites with Hospital starlet Netsky. Both artists stamp their trademark sound on Tonight with its rolling euphoric groove, vocal chop-ups, arpeggiated electro stabs and pumping bassline. The catchy vocal hook and hands-in-the-air glow make this one a surefire hit for the ravers.
Next up is Rave Digger favourite, Judgement Day a collaborative release with fellow Hospital stalwart Cyantific - which gets the VIP treatment from the Byrdman. Featuring the vocal talent of I-Kay, the bouncy triplets, fierce bassline and catchy vocals exude an incredible energy and give the original a fresh new twist for 2011.
Returning to the title track and it's a Hospital debut for UKG legend and remixer de jour MJ Cole who reworks Tonight into a super cool slice of 134bpm bassline goodness. Bumpin beats, warping synths and plenty of cache, this will be a staple in the record boxes of DJs from across the musical spectrum, working the territory between house, electro and dubstep to great effect.
The final remix, is from Bristol based duo, Cutline, who have been carving out a fearsome reputation for themselves in recent months, making insatiable, bass in your face party music at a range of tempos to suit all tastes. Here they go in with a souped up drumstep mix, which is full of smashing kicks and pummeling bass, designed to cause chaos on the floor.
Another huge hit in the making for Danny Byrd here!
