The second installment in Hospitals “Classic Symptons” series. Giving both recent converts to the Hospital sound as well as avid collectors the opportunity to delve deep into the NHS archive and pull out some of the more underground masterpieces from the catalogue.
This time it's the turn of two legends of d&b to step up. Appearing on the Plastic Surgery series these two slammers hail from the golden age when Total Science ruled our dancefloors. Originally only available as part of the 4 piece vinyl album “Plastic Surgery 3” “Flip Flop” is unmistakably Total Science. A big intro complete with pitched up vox gives way to a thundering sub and an intercity percussion assault. It smashed it back then, and it most definitely still smashes it today.
Digging even deeper “Let It Go” hails from even further back in the recesses of the Hospital Vaults – signed for the previous Plastic Surgery installment way back in 2000. What you're listening to right here is a little piece of Junglist history – but you don’t need Tony Robinson and Time Team tell you that!
