Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital stalwarts Nu:Tone and Logistics. Individually, the Gresham brothers have released a total of seven long players already on Hospital, each to great critical acclaim.
The sum of their combined powers is oozing with the kind of soulful drum + bass, which is the foundation of the Hospital label and will satisfy long term fans who hanker after the golden days of the genre.

We have just uploaded the first in a series of videos previewing the Nu:Logic album “What I’ve Always Waited For”, which is due for release on Hospital Records on March 25th.
Working with director Nez Savaşkan we wanted to create visual accompaniments for each of Nu:Logic’s tunes which captured the vibe and feeling of each track. This resulted in a series of twelve simple vignettes not conforming to the standard conventions you might expect from a promo video.
“Morning Light” is the lead track and introduces you to the locations and characters whose lives you will be observing over the next two weeks as we reveal them in the run up to the album’s release.
Check out all the videos on their official website at NuLogicMusic.com!
Calm and mellow from start to finish, “Morning Light” is a blissed out track which pairs pattering drums with cooing vocals for maximum effect, whilst guitar strumming and sub-heavy upright bass add weight and depth.
Over on the flipside we have the not-so-cuddly “Grizzly” which switches up the tempo and goes for the jugular with superb trigger-clicking, bass-ridden stabbing beats.
Chris Goss took the controls this week for another podcast full of basslines and upfront tracks. New music from Danny Byrd + remixes of New Zealands’ Shapeshifter are included plus tracks from Phace, Subwave and wicked Nu:Tone remix of Unicorn Kid.
Check it out and let us know what you think.
